1.16 - Cultures of Alaska

This week we are starting our exploration of Native Alaskan Cultures. We started with a brief survey of the Athabaskan peoples, but it was very rudimentary.  As we look to see how cultures lived and adapted to their environments here, we have to always be thinking of geography and of climate. These played a vital role in the development of cultural ways of thinking.

• In Canvas, with your teams, complete your assigned cultural group's informational slides.
• Review the other groups, and read about each group briefly if you want more information.
  • We will have a quiz on this on Thursday, after we have been able to review more on each group.​
